Albany County Hazardous Materials Contingency Plan

Public Service Announcement

The Albany County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) is providing notice that the County Hazardous Materials Operational Procedures Plan, the accompanying Tier II inventory forms and material safety data sheets are available for review at the Albany County Emergency Management Agency Office located at 501 Ivinson Avenue; Laramie, WY between the hours of 9:00 AM and 12:00PM and 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.

This public availability notice is issued annually as required under Section 304(b) of the Federal Emergency Planning and Community Right –to-Know Act of 1986 (EPCRA) regarding hazardous materials.

Anyone who wishes to review the data, but unable to do so in accordance with the announced schedule may call Rick Jansen, Albany County Emergency Management Coordinator at 307-721-1815 to make other arrangements.

The LEPC meets quarterly at 12:00 PM on the second Monday of the months of January, April, July, and October annually. Meetings are held in the public meeting room of Laramie Fire Department Station 3 (2374 Jefferson Street). The next regularly scheduled meeting is April 8, 2013.
